I live in south jersey in case you have any questions. But on the batman gem, there used to be a large batman symbol on route 55 south between exit 53 and 50. It was a memorial for a classmate, and i used to purposely drive by it constantly. That is until they painted over it. Now I wish I had a picture for my memory.

Sorry to hear about your classmate. My senior year, we lost two from my school, and one from my previous school. There was no memorial besides a bunch of flowers and stuff where they died. You might be able to find pictures of the memorial online? Have you tried looking it up?
