[When Love Dies] Chapter 3 Part 1

Various Gods and Goddesses have walked the Earth since the beginning of time, helping to shape the future of mankind under the direction of the First God. Then the First is called away to settle a problem on the other side of the universe. When They return in their latest incarnation – a woman going by the name of Tamara – she finds that things on Earth have changed – and not for the better.

Now Trust is dying, Love is growing weaker every day, and it’s up to Tamara to find out why before it’s too late.

On top of that, a couple new Gods have popped up. While this isn’t usually a problem, these two threaten Tamara’s authority with their growing strength, and one of them doesn’t share Tamara’s “live and let live” philosophy.

The other…well, let’s just say, that one presents a different problem.

Sorry guys! Got caught up working on chapter 3 and lost track of time. Here is part 2!

“I’ve gone over every paper the hospital sent home with me, wikipedia, the Mayo Clinic website and every other site I could find. None of them know for sure what causes leukemia,” Patience greeted me. “I even went to the hospital and talked with the doctors there, just to double check. We have nothing, My Lord.”

[Admin] Format/Posting change.

For those of you who are following along with ‘When Love Dies‘, this mostly applies to you.

Due to school, work, new health issues, and time zone differences between my betas and I, I am going to have to move posting to every other week. Sorry, but there is just too much on my plate to do this every week.

I am also changing the formatting of the posts. I didn’t think about it when I first started posting, but with the chapters being a couple pages each, it really takes up a lot of room on the page. So now, there will be a highlight section – as it were – and then the “Read More” cut.

Hopefully these changes will work out for the better for everyone involved.

Okay, so one of my beta readers, Erwin, is obsessed with Vikings. He’s constantly suggesting I add more vikings to whatever I’m writing, regardless of  genre/format/etc.. Don’t ask me, I don’t get it. I like the mythology, runes, and the way Chris Hemsworth looks as Thor, but that’s where my interest ends.

Anyway. So while writing Chapter 2 of When Love Dies, I came to a block in the flow, and Erwin once again started suggesting that I add vikings. This is what came from that. Enjoy.

[Update] Late, but it’s coming!

I know it’s getting late in the day, but I promise, Chapter 2 of When Love Dies is on its way! Just smoothing out some bumps. Also, there will be a (very small) bonus piece tomorrow. A blooper, as it were 😉

Also, in the coming weeks, updates should be more regular. The main reason it’s  taking so long for this part is because I had to rewrite two entire strands for the math class I’m in, plus an assignment for the creative writing class, and an emergency eye doctor visit. Fun times. So much fun.
