The laptop lives!
Well, the main site overhaul is done. Now, it’s finding time to create content that’s the problem. We had…an incident. At work. I’m not allowed to talk about it (yay, working for corporations!), but it resulted in us being short-staffed. We are struggling. My vacation is on hold and there’s a good chance I’ll be working longer weeks until we get this sorted. I don’t mind the vacation being put on hold, but the longer work weeks mean that I’m having to try and squeeze writing in between work and cooking and sleeping.
It’s frustrating because I have so many ideas I want to work on, and there’s still the plotting I need to do for the ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ work. Definitely beginning to feel like I’m trying to split myself into too many pieces.
At any rate, this week, the plan is to start editing “Say ‘No!’ to Zombies.” In April, I’m taking part in Camp Nano, and using the time to plot out a new work, but then I’ll go back to editing. I will not be taking part in NaNoWriMo this coming November. Working in retail and trying to participate is just too much.
For those of you who watch Picard: **Spoiler Below**
Who else is pissed off at the level of stupidity on display on the bridge? They all saw how the portal weapon worked and they still didn’t take evasive action as soon as they saw it open? Knowing they just fired a weapon into it? I mean, maybe it’s just because I watched my nephew play that Portals game, but wow. I’m calling so much BS.
